FISS/CSCS

Having the right knowledge and training is vital when you’re working in the fencing industry.
The Fencing Industry Skills Scheme/Construction Skills Certification Scheme (FISS/CSCS) helps you do just that as it offers a structure for skills development and progression through a card scheme.
It provides a strong recognised framework that consists of fencing training alongside health and safety awareness. Holding a card shows an employer that you are not only a great installer, but you understand the importance of keeping safe at work, know what to do if anything goes wrong and have a recognised qualification.

Different Cards for Different Skills
Once you’ve completed the relevant training and qualifications, you will be issued a card representative of your level of competence. As your skills progress, so does your card.
There are 6 different types of card, colour coded to represent your skill level. To find out more about the individual cards and what’s involved in obtaining them, click on the title below.
