Mole Control - Trapping Techniques

Our comprehensive Mole Control - Trapping Techniques course is aimed at learners who wish to develop their skills in controlling moles using physical methods. The training will give you the knowledge to be able to plan and carry out mole control. It will provide you with a full working knowledge of both preventative and curative methods to be able to plan, implement and monitor a control programme that is appropriate to the specific situation using efficient and safe methods and with due regard to the environment.

The training will cover the biology of moles providing an understanding of the reasons why they need to be controlled, legislation associated with moles that you need to be aware of when controlling them, the types of non-chemical methods available to control moles and when it would be appropriate to use each method, this will be encompassed with practical activities during the training. 

The training is suitable to learners new to trapping moles or anyone who wishes to develop their skills further in the techniques used to trap moles effectively. 

This is an assessed course, on successful completion you will recieve a certificate of training from a nationally recognised awarding organisation.

Who is it for?

Our comprehensive training is aimed at anyone who wishes to control moles using physical methods either commercially or as an interest.

This training will appeal to people in agriculture, horticulture, sports management and related industries where moles may pose a nuisance causing damage to crops and turf.
