The course provides the knowledge and skill requirements for candidates to be assessed for NPTC Certificate of Competence CS39 “Use of chainsaw from a rope and harness”
Course Duration
This training is for 4 people over 2 days. There is also an experienced operator version of this training on 1 day for 4 people.

- Sending saw aloft
- General saw handling
- Use of chainsaw from rope and harness to remove medium sized lateral branches
- Use of slings
- How to free a trapped saw
- Target pruning
