Who this course is intended for:

Our 2 day course on Coppicing will relay traditional skills being favoured by farmer and conservationists alike in a hands-on field environment, with supervision from an experienced craftsman/professional tutor.

Course Content:

  • Care and maintenance of coppicing tools
  • Safety procedures
  • Restoration of derelict coppice back into management
  • Cutting material already in management
  • Use of coppiced materials and market

Course Outcome

Students who successfully complete the two-day training course will receive a Lantra Awards certificate, recognised within the land-based industries.
