Who this course is intended for:
Our 2 day course on Coppicing will relay traditional skills being favoured by farmer and conservationists alike in a hands-on field environment, with supervision from an experienced craftsman/professional tutor.
Course Content:
- Care and maintenance of coppicing tools
- Safety procedures
- Restoration of derelict coppice back into management
- Cutting material already in management
- Use of coppiced materials and market
Course Outcome
Students who successfully complete the two-day training course will receive a Lantra Awards certificate, recognised within the land-based industries.
