Sporting Shotgun Field Safety – Level 2
Lantra Awards can offer Sporting Shotgun Field Safety & Practice (Level 2 Award). The course is designed to consolidate and progress existing sporting shotgun field shooting skills. Candidates may progress on to enhanced target or live quarry forms of shooting, either recreationally or linked to a work role requirement.
Am I eligible for this course?
Previous knowledge or experience is expected of candidates and the minimum age to enroll on this course is 16.

- Quarry Identification – status and context
- Basic health and safety and shotgun use
- Shotgun – shooting sports
- Cleaning and maintenance
- Shooting practical (assessment)
