Tree Inspection training courses
These courses are primarily knowledge based with a small practical element, intended for people who are seeking work in commercial forestry, amenity and/or utility arboriculture. They are delivered in a training room environment with some practical exercises included.
Tree inspection should be carried out by an experienced and qualified Arboriculturist. The inspection process involves all aspects of the tree from roots up to branch tips. Additionally, any target hazard needs to be identified and considered, for example it may be that the tree is located within a woodland area and that certain defects that would be unacceptable on a road side tree are acceptable on a woodland tree.
To reduce the possibilities of such situations it is recommended that tree owners obtain an annual condition survey of their trees by a qualified Arboriculturist.
