Winching Courses

Lantra Awards offers winching courses which combine training and assessment. Candidates who achieve an acceptable standard will be awarded a Lantra Awards Certificate of Training. Lantra Awards courses are delivered exclusively through a network of registered training providers and instructors. So you can be sure that you will be trained by people who are qualified and experienced with winching. Training is done in small groups so that you receive plenty of individual attention, supplemented by course materials.

Course enables the operator to understand the principles of winching, realise the possible hazards and health and safety and risk management and assess a suitable method of use to maintain personal, vehicle and contents safety, and gain experience in the use of a winch for moving an object from point A to B.

This course is suitable for any person who is required to operate a hand or mechanical winch on or off the road. Suitable for many industries and work environments.
