Contact Lantra Awards awards@lantra-awards.co.uk and we will arrange for you to receive an amended replacement. How long are Lantra Awards Certificates and Cards valid for? Technical Awards HSE recommend that refresher training is carried out every 3 to 5 years e.g. First Aid is currently 3 years. National Highway Sector Schemes require that identity cards are renewed every 5 years. NVQ/SVQ/VRQ qualification certificates are not renewed but may form part of another registration scheme which requires regular renewal.
Can we accept emailed candidate photographs?
We can only accept photographs from training providers or centres in the correct size and format. They should be emailed in JPEG format, the email should preferably be no larger 1 megabyte. The electronic photo files should be individually named to correspond with the registrations received from providers/centres by post to uniquely identify each candidate.
Please note that there may be an automatic email firewall response due to the large amount of skin colouration on the photo/s. In this situation the customer email will be quarantined before being passed on by IT.
How long does it take to receive certificates or cards?
Our standard turnaround time is 10 working days from the receipt of paperwork to issue certificates or cards to our training providers or centres, who then distribute them to candidates who attended the course or assessment programme.
Do I get a Lantra Awards Skills Identity Card for an Attendance course?
No, Lantra cards are only issued for Integrated Training and Assessment (ITA) courses & only if the candidate has sent in a photo.
A candidate has received his ITA certificate, can they send a photo in to get a Lantra Awards Skills Identity Card at a later date? Yes, the candidate needs to give the training provider 2 passport photos with their name & Course HO Number. The training provider can then post or email us the photos.
How much notice must a training provider give to order a course? 10 Working days, if the order is placed within 5 working days or less there will be a late order charge. It takes 3 working days for delivery from the date of despatch of the materials.
Please note that materials for orders placed before 2.30pm each day will be despatched the following working day. Orders are processed only once per day after this time.
What is the late order charge?
£25.00 This is a charge to cover the extra administration that is involved in sending a parcel out for next day delivery. Please note that this charge does not guarantee delivery of materials in time for the course taking place. We will however endeavour to make sure it arrives as soon as possible. Can I buy a workbook separately? We only supply course materials to our registered training providers and materials can only be obtained by participating in a Lantra Awards course, booked through a registered Lantra Awards training provider.
How long do Training Providers have to return course materials for booked places?
28 days from the end date of the course.
