Lead EV selected for Conservative Party
Lantra Awards’ Lead External Verifier for the Beginning Falconry Award has been selected as an Approved Candidate for the Conservative Party. Grant Fergusson who has worked with Lantra Awards for over three years will soon be able to put his long held political aspirations into practice.
After attending a recent Candidate Selection Board, Grant has now been accepted and is now awaiting selection for a seat.
Grant and wife Ffyona, are experienced falconers and joint founders of their business Galloway Falconry based in South West Scotland. They began their business five years ago after winning a national business plan competition and being featured on a TV programme on channel 4. Galloway Falconry is an Administration Point for the Lantra Awards’ course and both Grant and Ffyona are Lantra Awards’ Approved Assessors.
Grant was appointed Lead Verifier for the Beginning Falconry Award earlier this year. His key role is to ensure that there is consistency in the assessment of candidates across Lantra Awards’ Administration Points, Approved Assessors and other External Verifiers.
