UK Landskills Advanced Joint Winners Announced
This year the Malvern Autumn Show, held on the 24-27th September, hosted the 2009 Advanced UK Landskills competition, organised by BALI and sponsored by Lantra Awards, one of the UK’s leading Awarding Organisations. Positioned just within the north gate, the Canadian themed gardens attracted hundreds of passing spectators throughout the show.
The Advanced Competition finalists and winners were:

- Runner Up
Hartpury College
Judges; Darren Thompson from WorldSkills 2011 team, Charlie Maclauchlan from Country Gardens and Mitch Westwood from Westwood Solutions were impressed with the passion and skills demonstrated over the four days by all competitors.
The winning teams from both the Intermediate and Advanced Competition now wait to celebrate their success with the landscape industries finest at the prestigious BALI National Landscape Award ceremony at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London on the 4th December.
