At Lantra Awards we intend to support the training provider network and ensure that such training is available for new instructors.
Instructors should be competent contractors.

- The essentials
- All Technical Skills updated within last 5 years
- Emergency First Aid skills current
- Instructional Techniques/Delivery skills training course undertaken
- Practical working knowledge in the relevant skill area
- Commitment to undertake a skills test evaluation in the relevant skill area
- Commitment to attend Lantra Awards Technical Standards Courses.
- Commitment to continuous professional development by attending relevant health and safety training at managerial level or similar level (e.g. Lantra Awards course)
