Tractor Driving
Duration: Between one and five days
Details: Integrated training and assessment course depending on the drivers experience, for a maximum of four people. Non-assessed courses are available for 13-16 year olds. The Lantra Awards courses are offered in a modular approach with 3 sections being mandatory and 4 optional sections:
Tractor Driving on Slopes
Duration: Between one and two days
Details: Integrated training and assessment course, depending on the drivers experience, for a maximum of six people.
Front End Loader
Duration: One day
Details: Maximum of four people. Attaching a mounted front-end loader
Attaching a bucket, muck fork, pallet forks etc. to the loader (as appropriate)
Using the loader correctly and organising working area for efficient operations
Leaving unattached implements in a safe state.
Tractor Maintenance
Duration: One or two-day course, depending on experience,
Details: for a maximum of four people. Performing maintenance to the standard of the manufacturers instruction manual, ensuring the tractor is in a safe road-going state.
