What is the Level 2 Certificate in Land-Based Activities?
This is a brand new framework Qualification designed for learners who would like to develop new areas of knowledge and skill within the land-based sector or extend and build upon their existing abilities. It provides a flexible Qualification that enables learners to individually select a package which meets their needs and interests. It is suitable for those entering work, as well as those who have established themselves in a role, who wish to have formal recognition of their skills.
All units are signposted to current National Occupational Standards and the Qualification has the support of Lantra Sector Skills Council.
How do I achieve the Certificate?
The Qualification is gained through a process of continuous assessment. Learners must achieve a minimum of 13 credits; by providing enough evidence to meet the outcomes of the units selected. Evidence may be presented in a number of ways including written assessments; practical activities; question and answer; learning logs and portfolios; photographic images and witness statements.
