Qualification and Credit Framework (QCF)
There are a range of useful resources available from the Qualifications and Curriculum Development Agency (QCDA). As well as a selection of resources available to download there is also an interactive animation section which provides an overview of the key concepts of the QCF. The materials are aimed at a range of different audiences including employers and training providers.

Regulated qualifications are defined by those products that are approved via Ofqual and SQA and are subject to the rules and regulations that underpin minimum U.K. standards.
This is the key difference between Lantra Awards qualifications and its other provision such as Technical Awards and Customised provision as these areas of work are not regulated in the same manner.
