Sector Schemes
Sector schemes are quality management schemes developed in partnership with key organisations in the highways industry, including Highways Agency. Sector schemes complement ISO9002 and specify the training that operatives must receive to ensure that they work safely and to the highest standards. Some sector schemes do not involve the training of operatives, but deal with product conformity.

How do I become a sector scheme training and/or assessment centre?
You need a copy of the Lantra Awards Specification of Training and/or Assessment for Centres, which describes what is involved in becoming a centre, and includes centre approval application forms. To request this document please email Lantra Awards: awards@lantra-awards.co.uk

Fencing sector schemes are linked to NVQs/SVQs through the Fencing Industry Skills Scheme (FISS/CSCS) which encourages operatives to progress from basic health and safety awareness to the NVQ/SVQ in Fencing. If you would like more information on FISS/CSCS please email Lantra Awards awards@lantra-awards.co.uk
